Preconditions
Participation in the further education course "Organizational Management" presupposes a minimum requirement of a good graduation result achieved at a university course or a course at a University of Applied Sciences with a regular period of study of at least six semesters.
Participation does not presuppose any specific first degree. Students at the IAW have completed the most diverse first study programs. Applicants must also have two years of appropriate professional experience. Typically, managerial and junior employees from industry, the services sector and administration meet up at the IAW.
The applicants wishing to attend the specialization course Modern Administration Management are required to have professional experience in the higher grade of civil service or higher level service or as managerial staff in public administration (Federal, states, and local authorities, universities, educational sector, chambers, etc.).
Where the applicants meet the addressed requirements, they are invited to a selection discussion in order to clarify mutual expectations as well as to gain a personal impression of goals and a suitability for the degree course.
General information regarding the application procedure and registration
Applications and registration depend on the chosen degree course; that is to say, applications and registration modalities are regulated differently.
An initial application is required which must be sent directly to the IAW is required for degree courses for a Master's degree ("Master of Organizational Management" and "Modern Administration Management"). Once the Board of Directors of the IAW Bochum has approved admission, you will receive a detailed information package by post describing the further steps. The IAW assumes all administration duties related to your registration and re-registration. Mr. Marcus Kottmann, our advisor, will gladly answer any questions you may have in this regard.
Registration in Master's degree courses
Application
The degree course commences on 1 April or 1 October. Applications can be submitted directly to the IAW at any time. In order to be able to accompany your entry in the best possible way, we kindly ask you to send in your application before 31.7. (for starting on 1 October) or by 31.1. (for starting on 1 April ). Once we have received your documents we will send you a receipt. If you do not receive confirmation within one week, please contact Birgit Tormöhlen or Dr. Rainer Skrotzi either by E-mail or telephone.
- Please complete your application forms on a computer and E-mail them to the IAW.
Registration

Please note: Registration for specialization Modern Administration Management is possible for the winter semester 2008(2009, the winter semester 2009/2010 and the summer semester 2010.
